Meet Dr. Lorelei Starbuck — a woman whose life is a testament to resilience, love, and the courage to keep rising, no matter what life brings.
Born and raised in Colorado and now rooted in Texas, Dr. Lorelei Starbuck is the proud mother of two grown sons and grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren. She's been married to her beloved husband, Ed, for 49 years, and together they've counseled countless couples on how to build lasting, love-filled marriages.
As co-owners of two successful wedding businesses, Lorelei and Ed have officiated over 5,000 heartfelt ceremonies across three decades, crafting personal "Love Story" weddings that honor each couple's unique journey. Her understanding of leadership and business development is deeply rooted in her love for empowering others to create magic.
Beyond Romance

Lorelei's story extends far beyond romance and business.
A survivor of cancer and a tireless caregiver, she faced her own diagnosis with courage and grace and emerged in remission. Just as she was recovering, Ed underwent brain surgery to manage Parkinson's. Side by side, they walked through those turbulent times with strength, resilience, and faith in the light ahead.
While navigating chemotherapy treatment, brain fog, and emotional exhaustion, Lorelei accomplished what many thought impossible: she earned her PhD in Philosophy & Comparative Religion at the age of 69. Her 16,000-word dissertation explored the existence of God, written and infused with both scholarly insight and lived spiritual experience.

Lorelei and Ed are also devoted cat rescuers, doing what they can to care for the vulnerable, whether two-legged or four.
